Think London is not a good place for eating out? Forget about fish & chips and discover the new English cuisine. iwannagothere.com features 3 restaurants you wouldn’t believe are in London.

St. John Restaurant

This restaurant may well be in Barcelona or New York. When you are inside, you could not guess which city in the world you are, even if you are in a traditional Georgian building in the 60’s.

They take the English tradition of cooking the whole hog, and when we say everything, we mean EVERYTHING, not wasting anything, try beef hearts or beef tongue, all cooked as authentic delicatessen (which is what they actually are).

They change the menu daily and it’s posted on its website for your viewing before you go.

Koffmann’s

Only 5 minutes from Harrod’s in the grand hotel The Berkeley is this French restaurant where you would feel as one of the English high society.

Relaxed atmosphere, excellent service, interesting people and the best of all : it has a daily lunch menu for just 18 pounds.

Blue Print

Near Silicon Roundabout (the London Silicon Valley), beside the Thames, in the second floor of the Design Museum with one of the best views of the city, What else could you want?

Sit back and enjoy, windows from floor to ceiling offer a panoramic view of London from Canary Wharf, east through Tower Bridge and the city to the west, the food could be not worth it, but it is not.

The chef Jeremy Lee is responsible for the last 16 years for the menu and letter of Wines. The food will get you to stop looking out the window.
