eDreams: What’s the thing you love most about travel?

Oneika: I love discovering the sights and sounds and smells of new places. Call me weird, but I love having lingustic difficulties and making cultural faux pas when I go to a new country- it’s fun!

Why do you blog?

I blog to share my travel experiences and open people up to the wide world that’s out there. I think that people often don’t travel to certain places because they feel they are out of their comfort zone- I seek to introduce to new destinations and entice them to take the plunge! It’s all about travelling far and travelling wide… 🙂

Can you recommend 2 other travel blogs you like?

That’s a difficult question that I’m really unprepared to answer! I read a wide variety of blogs, but two blogs that I enjoy equally for the travel narrative as much as for the photos are Lola Akinmade’s blog, Geotraveler’s Niche and Ayngelina Brogan’s Bacon is Magic. I love the slick design and the super huge photos, and I love their style of writing, which is so honest and open!
