The airport is small but very organized and efficient.We were impressed with the staff on the connecting flight from Rome to Split to Zagreb and Dubrovnik.

I had special assistance at the Split Airport as well as at Gatwick. The lady that wheeled me to the luggage carousel was very professional, kind and would not accept a tip.Great bus connections to Split from the airport.The airport could have a shop specializing in Croatian grown fruit, lavender sachets, Croation liquers, beer, etc....

It was super crowded and too small for that many people. I was 2 hours earlier at the airport and was just losing my flight because of lack of enough personnel at the airport. There is enough deserted area around the airport and the split airport can easily become bigger. For that much tourist having an airport as big as a bus station is just not acceptable.
