Flights from Milan may start at the Milan-Malpensa Airport, which is 49 kilometers from central Milan and has two terminals. You may also fly from Milan Linate Airport, conveniently located just 7 kilometers from central Milan. Il Caravaggio International Airport, also known as the Milan-Bergamo Airport, is used by some budget airlines and is 45 kilometers northeast of Milan. Milan-Bergamo Airport is named after Caravaggio, the renowned Baroque painter.

Getting to Milan airport

To catch cheap flights from Milan to London, confirm the name of the airport from which your plane is departing. To reach Milan–Malpensa Airport, take the Malpensa Express train at Milan Cadorna station just southwest of central Milan (30 minutes). You can also board the Malpensa Shuttle and Malpensa Bus Express at Milan Central station. To get to Linate Airport, take the local bus service 73 from Piazza San Babila in the center of the city. To reach Il Caravaggio International Airport, you can take a bus from the city center or hop on a shuttle service provided by Terravision.
