New York is one of the largest cities in the world and it is also the most important American city. It is served by JFK, LaGuardia and Newark Liberty International Airport. While LaGuardia and JFK are in the Bronx, Newark Airport is in New Jersey, some 24 kilometers away.
To catch a cheap flight from NYC to Miami, you will need to confirm from which airport your plane is taking off. John F. Kennedy International Airport is the most well-known of these, and has four runways. LaGuardia used to be better known but it is now a secondary airport.
Getting to New York airport
Once you confirm from which airport flights to Miami from New York are taking off, you can make arrangements to arrive early at the designated airport. If your plane is taking off from either LaGuardia or JFK, you can always take New York City Subway trains from wherever you are.
