"Although the upgrade to first class made the first part of the flight very pleasant, the lost luggage was the worst that could happen to me and spoiled my vacation entirely. It was lost for 5 days and delivery to me took 2 days. Thus, i had no luggage for 7 out of 10 days. During all this time i was supposed to call american airlines all the time and investigate and be patient and keep on waiting. Once delivered, luggage was opened, damaged and robbed. More than 600 dollars worth of goods missing."

"Stopovers: Had to pick up my luggage at Philadelphia and check in. Had to first check in with a company although they knew i was flying with another one. They issued a boarding pass, which i had to then change with my company. Flight was then delayed with 2 hours which made me arrive very late at Miami. The luggage was also lost with this change and arrived very late."

"Luggage handling: Lost at the transfer in Philadelphia. Took 5 days for American airlines to locate it and 2 to deliver. All this time had to call and all i was told is to be patient. When the luggage arrived, it was robbed and more than 600 dollars worth of goods are missing. Havent been reimbursed yet. Havent been compensated for the 7 days of having no luggage at my 10 day vacation."
