"London to Calgary: excellent
Calgary to Denver: PAINFUL. United, handling the connecting flight said Air Canada had not confirmed the flight, so I now had to try STANDBY, and pay $25 to have my one baggage item carried. I had to rush to get the connecting flight, so had no time to have a word with Air Canada staff at Calgary. I phoned the Air Canada staff when I wa sin Denver, and they said I could not have had a problem. I have the $25 receipt to prove that I did.
The return flight was fine."
