"- - - Over the years Avianca service has improved significaly, i.e. punctualitly, comfortable new planes.
The quality of the food though is still quite poor, eg. it'd be nice to be able to get a meal without meat for a change.
Also, on several ocassions parts of the plane hadn't been properly cleaned, i.e. some parts sticky from food or spilled drinks, trash still in the compartments etc

- - - Our brandnew hardcase suitcases were damaged very badly - perforation on various places of the suitcase - We were told that, although they are not allowed to, the anti-narcotic customs police make holes in people's suitcases in order to check for narcotics. It is inexceptable. Apart from damaging our suitcases also clothes and personal effects were damaged due to the same perforations. PLEASE do something about it!!!
You can't expect people to buy new suitcases each time they travel to and from Colombia.

"CheckIn: Transit times from flights within Colombia should be longer in order to give time for proper transfer of luggage and passengers. On various occasions the luggage did not arrive with us creating a whole lot of inconveniences."
