"The Flight Staff where very accomodating and drinks arrived frequently and with a smile on the Dublin/Newark section of the flight, and the Newark to ottawa flight was a very relaxed affair although I did struggle to understand the foreign staff during the safety procedure. I always take note to read the card in the seat in front of me but I know a number of people dont and this may have meant they would not have known what to do in an emergancy."

"Aircraft: A minor point but an expensive one on this journey! - The headphone ports on this aircraft where single jack instead of the usual double jack you find on airlines. At first I thought this would save me time and effort and was impressed, Untill The gentleman beside me needed to get out. I forgot to unplug them and subsequently my headphone jack was ripped out causing me to now have a broken pair of £80 headphones!"
Stopovers

"Stopovers: The stopover in Newark was exactly as I expected. In fact, I was impressed with how easy it was considering I had to pick up my own baggage. I could have caught a connecting flight in under an hour for sure. I allowed 4 hours this time, but in future I would be comfortable allowing 2."

"Incidents: As stated above. Due to the way the headphones are positioned on the aircraft and the lack of the dual jack adapter (upgrade?) It meant that when someone slid past to get into their seat they ripped the jack from the socket and broke my headphones, which unfortunately where my own and rather expensive! I appreciate that you offer your own headphones that would have been less of a loss but they are quite painful for me to have in my ears. I didnt report this incident as I realise it was probably my fault for forgetting to unplug them!"
