"My flight was cancelled and I was not given a new flight until 3 days later. When I asked them to give me something sooner they said it was impossible and as I was not happy and decided to stay until they gave me a more satisfactory answer, they called the police on me. The police did not do anything, of course, they did not even give me a ride home. i ended up having to pay for a taxi, so all the expences of the "act of God" , as they kept repeating, were on me.
The end result was my planned 10 day holidays in my home country were cut to 7.
Somebody else I know was treated a little better and got a flight with a different route for the day after, but he just happened to be dealing with a nicer clerk, I guess. Conclusion: never again travel with Delta"
