"Check in at Malaga was appalling as the person on the desk spent about 20 minutes dealing with a customer flying to Dubia who had an international baggage allowance but the ground staff didnt understand. This kept everyone standing in a queue. Boarding was then delayed by 50 minutes as the aircraft flew into a flock of birds inbound and had to have the engines checked before flying. No information was given till we boarded. Once we landed we had to wait for the police to come on board to remove some individuals who had been drinking their duty free on the flight and wouldent comply with the air hostesses. Consequently I missed my onward flight to Manchester but Air Lingus wouldnt accept responsibility and I had to pay £105 for the next flight three hours later. It was my birthday and my family were expecting me back for a family event which had to be cancelled."
