"On outbound flight we (myself, my wife and little son) missed the connection flight due to the fact that Emirates refused to check-in us for the connection flight in Dubai, the plaine was late in Birmingham, and unrealistic time left between the flights, which didn't allow us to chek-in for the connection flight in Birmingham, and we had to stay overnight in Birmingham. The Emirates, despite being responsible for this problem, were arguing for 2 hours in Birmingham and refusing to pay for the overnight stay in the hotel and for rescheduling the connection flight with Airlingus forsing us to cover all the unexpected expected expenses by ourselves or stay overnight on the rainy & cold Birmingham street with a little child. We had to threaten them with the court action so they started to move and finally agreed to pay for the overnight stay in the hotel and rescheduled flight with Airlingus. Overall: this was the worst flight in my life among 400-500 previous flight experiences."

Child's pushchair: I had to check it in
"Children: It is a nightmare to run through the whole Birmingham airport with hand laggage and a child from the late Emirates flight to a connection Airlingus flight when there were only 27 minutes left for the Airlingus flight departure, and then realise thet the check-in couldn't be done at the first place as the check-in and at 7 p.m. but, the Emirates plane supposed to arrive only by 7.05 p.m. and actually arrived and opened the dores only by 7.33 p.m.. The most shocking was the advise from Emirates to go with a little chiled and sleep overnight on the cold and rainy street bench and pay themselves for the rescheduled flight."
