"The flight Granada- Madrid was a terrible experience. Iberia does not seem to be an organized company at all. Our flight was at 07:00 to Madrid, but after waiting for 50 minutes in the cue to check in, they finally told us that THERE IS NO airplane and we have to get a bus to Malaga and get our plane from there. I had an interconnecting flight at 11:40 to Athens and I asked if I would have problem with this delay. They told me 'absolute none' and that I would arrive to Madrid at 9. It was difficult for me to believe but I had not other choice. At 7:10 we get on to a company bus and at 8:20 we reached Malaga. The bus just dropped us there and there was nobody to tell us where to go. There was no info in the screens about our flight and people tried to find the information desk, but there was a cue there as well. They told us that we had to check again (although we had already checked in Granada). The problem was that there was only one desk for all this people and the employer was very, very slow. When I asked for an extra desk to check in (there was a nearby of Iberia) the employer told me with a very rude manner that this is 'only for Business Class'. As a result we took off at 10:15 , 2 hours after we reached Malaga. We reached Madrid at 11:28 and I had only 12 minutes to take the flight to Athens. I asked the air hostess to inform us about the gates of the interconnecting flights. She actually wrote down for me on my boarding pass the gate to Athens. As a result I get the train to gates S and left gates HGK where we landed. I start running and running, I passed through passport and personal control and when I finally reached S36 I found no Athens flight. They told me that there are not international flights in this section and Athens is at HJK where I had originally landed. The time was 11:50 and I started runing and runing (getting the train as well) passed passport and personal control for second time and when I finally reach J36 the plane had just left the gate (12:03).
Of course I went to Iberia help desk where I had to wait for 45 minutes in the cue and after a big fight they changed me the ticket for the next flight 6 and half hours later.
Very unprofessional work, no last call announcements in the airport, not even air hostess well informed. I do not recommend by any chance this air company after all."
