"My flight was perfect. We boarded the flight to barcelona 10 minutes late but still got to barcelona 10 minutes earlier than we should have. I will always fly with Spanair from now on. It was the exact opposite of my flights with Ryanair and Vueling which were 1 and a half hours late and 4 hours late, respectively with many other problems such as long lines, no explanations as to why we need a visa check when we've only been in the country for a little over 1 month, etc. Also, Spanair allowed you to have mints and drinks for free."

"CheckIn: Perfect check in. They actually had kiosks and people standing there to help you to accelerate the process even more. Then all you had to do was take your bag to sit it down on the belt and check it. The kiosk does everything for you to speed up the process."

"Luggage handling: Everything went very smoothly from Spanair's end. I think the people in the Madrid airport purposefully make retrieving your bag an incredibly long process. We had no problems going to Madrid. Our bags came out in about 10 minutes. Madrid we waited 45 minutes because the Madrid airport is the most unorganized and UNCLEAN airport I have ever been in. Barcelona's airport is heaven compared to it."
