"The "snack" is really a joke. A packet with about 5 little cheese lavoured pellets. Unfortunately we were also surrounded by screaming babies on the return flight, which is distressing, although one can't really blame the airline for that I suppose."

"Surcharges comments: KLM's regulations for sporting equipment are ambiguous to say the least. We were charged EUR55 per person each way for our skis (ie a total of EUR 220 - more than the cost of our flight!), notwithstanding the fact that total weight of skis and snall suitcase was less than the weight limit of 23kgs. Reason given was that we exceeded the NUMBER of check in items. This is a rediculous baggage policy and for this reason I will NEVER USE KLM again for a ski trip. Lufthansa and Swiss both allow skiis IN ADDITION TO 23kg baggage allowance and easyjet charges only EUR25 for a set of skiis."
