"The excellent sandwiches and snacks were preferable to the generally mediocre airline meals of the past. This type of service also left the cabin crew more time to attend to passengers."

"CheckIn: I would suggest that the two rear aisle seats in close proximity to the toilets on this type of aircraft are allocated only when nothing else is available. They are extremely uncomfortable in terms of noise nuisance from the constant flushing of the toilet, the nauseating smell of the toilet as such, mingled with chemical 'fragrance', and the nuisance of passengers waiting for the toilet, each inevitably bumping the passengers in those two seats . After the doors had closed the purser announced that the plane was full. I therefore didn't ask to be seated elsewhere. However, towards the end of the journey the child next to me vomited (and to her embarrassment and my discomfort had no paper bag). I then got up to let her pass and discovered that there were quite a number of empty seats. Hence my low scores for the check in and for a flight of otherwise standard quality."

"Aircraft: I'm not competent to 'rate the aircraft'. Nor can I rate the space between seats for this particular aircraft. In my experience, seating is abysmally cramped in economy class on all airlines, so there's no relative standard for comparison."
