"For local flights within KLM is in competition with low cost airlines like Easyjet, BMI, FlyBee which offer much flexibility in terms of timing of outbound and incoming flights (you can return same day without having to pay extra) But with KLM, if you want to return same day or next day, you have to pay double price. After paying this price if you compare facilities on board then you think is this price gap justified? They can not even offer you a sandwitch (while other low cost airliens ask you to pay for it, KLM is no different when they don't offer it). Sometimes in Munich I come across KLM staff who can not even properly communicate in English( I remember one particular incident when the lady at the boarding gate could not make an annoucemnet in English). Is that really Royal Dutch Airlines staff?
If we talk about satefy, security on board in comparison to low cost airlines, they all use similar type of city hoppers so what's big deal?

"Aircraft: Very Noisy engine. I traveled with my pregnant wife and on our return journey from Munich- had a seat in the back- very close to the jet engines. The noise was definitely uncomfortable."

"Luggage handling: On Return to Amsterdam, our flight arrived at B22 and the baggage belt was Number 15. It s a very very long walk from the gate to the baggage belt. Seemed quite unnecessary and annoying."

"On 24 August 2010 From my flight from Charleston via Atlanta via Amsterdam to Munich, the booking staff forgot to forward my luggage to Munich. Instead it goes to Amsterdam where I have to retrieved the luggage and paid another Euro 55 for 1 extra when I have already paid a penalty of US$55.
So the issues are:
1. My luggage falls short of Munich and it stop at Amsterdam incurring additional inconveniences
2. I have to pay extra Euro 55 for the bag on 25 aug at Amsterdam which I have paid earlier US$55
