"Stopovers: In Amsterdam on our return trip, once we went through security we found that the more usual array of stores and restaurants was not there. There had been no indication that this was the situation until we passed through security screening and couldn't return. All we could get to eat was a sandwich or a sausage from a concession that only opened just before we had to board, although we had gone through as soon as we were permitted through. This meant a hurried snack instead of a proper lunch as we'd planned."

"It was the first flight in the morning (6:35) but we took off with almost one hour delay. They had to remove ice from the flights: they could have done it before.
My trip was London-> Berlin. I missed the flight AMS -> TXL because of the initial delay.
I had to go to Berlin via Paris!
In total 5 hours delay.

"CheckIn: Huge queue to check in luggage. You do not expect this on the first flight of the morning!
It is simply due to lack of personnel.
