"It is a little unclear what the possibliies are when checking in on- line. I didn't complete the process because I could not print the boarding pass at that moment. The impression given is that if you complete the process, choose the seat but then do not print the boarding pass, you will not be able to get a boarding pass from the airport check-in machine - although I have done this with other airlines - I therefore did not complete the online check in process in total because I was depended for getting my boarding pass from the machine at the airport and did not want any delays there.
Connected with the above point: I checked in by machine at the airport and was given a seat allocation at the gate. This seat had already been allocated to another passenger who was not so happy to take another seat!!!!
