"Dear Easyjet, I was very impressed with the free flight transfer and option of changing date to a time that suited you as an option when the Athens air strike began on Wendsday 19th and 20th of October. I was kept updated on flight status to the best of your knowledge. In the end I flew on my original date as planned, many other flights were delayed. Only to my dismay did I land in London Gatwick to board a flight with Ryanair and because of long que's, i made it to the gate 5 minutes late. The staff refused to let me on even though the plane was still outside and the screen said flight still closing. The truth is, this is how Ryanair make their money. Many people in Ireland despise flying with Ryanair, but buy flights with them because they are cheaper. Your flights are cheap and not overpriced in comparison to Ryanair and for the extra courtesy showed, I feel the majority would fly with you if you chartered flights incoming to Dublin as well as outgoing. "CheckIn: there was a long line, but I felt it went quickly. The lady at the check-in told me that I would have to place my handbag inside my suitcase as I was allowed ONLY one carry-on. This was a problem becasue how was I to carry all my documents to the plane if I didn't have an easy way to transport and access them? I was VERY surprised by this but I did it only to find others had taken 2 pieces on the plane - like a computer and handbag, or handbag and luggage. This is REaLLY a major pain in the neck that should be arranged better for the passengers. So, inorder for me to purchase anything on board I had to get my carry-on suitcase down and get my wallet out - VERY unacceptable!"
