Santorini holidays

Santorini sights and attractions

Famed for its surreal natural beauty and breathtaking sunsets, the volcanic isle of Santorini is one of the most spectacular of all the Greek Islands, perched at the southern tip of the Cyclades archipelago. Multi-colored cliffs peppered with white cubist villages plunge dramatically into a vast sea-filled crater where the tip of the still-active volcano peeps its head above the Aegean Sea. The picturesque capital Fira and its adjacent villages also cling precariously to the edge of the caldera, making it a unique and intriguing place to visit. Inland, pretty hilltop villages, orthodox church domes, and ancient bucolic vineyards dot the landscape.
