Departure was delayed by 1.30 hrs. I lost my business connection and on return flight Alitalia would not change my booking to an earlier flight. Eventually they did so but it was a long a troublesome exercise. Alòitalia? never again....as usual
The flight was delayed due to weather, however, the crew and captain made sure that we were comfortable by offering us water while we waited after boarding.
it was a bit upsetting not to be able to print online the boarding cards, but otherwise all has worked perfectly and without any hitch
FCO is a bad airport for Alitalia flights . Very disorganized and I advise everyone to check in before arriving at the airport. It is very critical so you will not miss your flight.
I did not have the flight number which the airline used which created a bit of confusion when trying to get information. I will avoid flying via Rome in future
The airline sold a ticket with intermediate stop, but it asks to pay a huge surcharge and penalties to disembark at the intermediate destination as part of their policy. This policy is not clear at the moment of the purchase of the ticket and it is different from the policy of other airlines and very tricky for customers. Make sure that your final destination is exactly what you want before purchasing tickets from this airline.
All in time. Except the wifi not working properly and the poor a/c at Rome airport, overall trip was fine.
You cancelled my original flight that I bought and put me on a much later flight. I had to wait for 6 hours and missed half a day on my short trip of only 4 days. I was very disappointed and when I called to ask for help the person I talked to wasn't very personable nor helpful.
it was freezing cold on the flight to Miami. Everybody was complaining but they did not fix the aircon. The flight back however was ok.
delay departure. flew to Pisa instead of Florence. the company is very lazy organized transport from Pisa to Florence. I do not think what else to ever use the services of Alitalia
It was not practical to change terminals on the way to Paris, and completely inconvenient to change airports in Milan on the way back.
Most irritating that at the airport in Prague we were only informed of an hour delay at the very last minute ( when we should have been boarding ) very unprofessional with in transit repercussions . Ryanair reduced cost of my early booking by 65% just a week after booking
They lost my laguage two times in going abd returning. Last time lagiage is destryoed not valid any more and bo compansation yet.
Not bad! Some offers would be much appreciated for those who often have to do this route (twice/week).
-- Flight Brussels-Rome : very positive. -- Flight Rome-Perugia : long waiting period inside the aircraft, all doors closed. The actual flight took only about 20 minutes instead of the 1 hour 35 minutes as indicated in the booking. A waste of time and moreover very annoying and frustrating. The aircraft itself was far from comfortable. PLEASE NOTE : all negative comments are exclusively concerning the second flight (Rome-Perugia).
Too much delay on the departure of the flight Madrid-Rome, causing stress for catching the connection in Rome. Thankfully that flight waited for us.
