US Airways Flights

US Airways is the fifth main airline in the United States. It was founded in 1939 under the name All American Aviation Company. At this stage the company's headquarters were in Pittsburg and it was operating in the Ohio River Valley. In 1949 the airline's name was changed to All American Airways and it started carrying passengers instead of freight. In 1996, following various changes, the airline was given its current name US Airways.

By the end of 2005 America West Holdings Corporation merged with the airline and all its flights were operated under US Airways' name. The airline also owns a subsidiary company that operates regional flights, US Airways Shuttle, which provides a shuttle service between the main cities in the north east of the United States.
