Useful distances:
From the airport: the single taxi ride costs about 25/30 euros, ask for a receipt if in doubt. From the airport, take the bus 98 and ask for the stop ""Meyerbeer"" which is about 400 meters from hotel; once at the stop, face away from the sea, Meyerbeer Street is on the left. Walk up that street and keep right. From the train station, turn right and there is a post office in a brick building; in front of it go down the Rue Gounod for about 400 meters, the Splendid will be on the right hand side.
