Alaska Adventure Suites sits in the historic Russian settlement of Ninilchik Village, Alaska, next to the Ninilchik River and within two blocks of the boat harbor and Ninilchik Spit. The area is surrounded by five active volcanoes which make up a portion of the "Ring of Fire" belt.
The Alaska Adventure Suites are housed in a lodge style building built in 1997 and fully renovated in 2004. The grounds, surrounded by a private apple orchard, were originally occupied by Alaska Natives. The lodge is also decorated with nautical and fishing related art and artifacts. Pets are not allowed at this property.
This lodge offers two suites, including the Volcanoes View and Village View. Suites include full kitchens, living rooms, bedrooms and dining rooms with fireplaces. "History's Mysteries" displays, which showcase findings from archaeological digs of the property's grounds, are featured in each suite. Windows look out to the nearby volcanoes, Ninilchik River and surrounding village. Beds are made up with 400 thread count, Egyptian cotton linens. Cable television, DVD players, VCRs, video games and a collection of films are included in the units.
