Getting there. Aircoach offers operates a service between Dublin's city centre and the airport, 24 hours, every day. Tickets can be purchased from the bus driver and cost approximately 10 EUR (return). A taxi direct to the Castle Hotel will cost around 25 EUR. Dublin's extensive bus network (green double deckers) serves the centre and the suburbs. Taxis are expensive and can be hard to come by. Parking is scarce, but a car is a great way to get off the beaten track; the centre of Dublin is best explored on foot.

Driving directions. From the airport, take the main road through Drumcondria, following the signs for the city centre. Turn left into Temple Street, then right into Denmark Street.
