However, another option that is more popular, quicker and cheaper is to take the Airport Rail Link's City Line, which takes just 25 minutes from downtown Bangkok. The City Line stops at the basement level of the airport. Trains from the city center to the airport stop at six stations, including Phaya Thai Station and Makkasan Station.

Koh Samui is the second largest island in Thailand, after Phuket; but it is calmer, more languid and peaceful than its larger and more popular cousin. It has an open-air design that has been lauded as unique and beautiful. Ferries to various locations near the island depart from the Big Buddha Pier. Six kilometers away, at the Maenum Beach Pier, you can catch high-speed ferries to exotic islands such as Chumphon and Ko Tao. Shared and private taxis can be hired just outside the airport for travel within the island.
