Only they cancelled my flight so I spent less days at the hotel but I paid off bcus it was already booked
We waited 2h30 for our gate to open in Charleroi. All the information we had was that it was delayed. Then people started getting upset for the lack of news and when we were finally boarding it was told that it was the weather in Lisbon that was bad. I called my family who lives in Lisbon and the weather was clear! Blue sky and not one blow of wind! SO THE STAFF LIES JUST TO SHUT PEOPLE UP? When we landed it was still the same clear sky... ridiculous... Once we're all ready to take off, almost 3h late, a group of drunk people in the back starts cursing at the staff and offending some passengers along. Instead of escorting them out an exaggerated effort was made to keep those people aboard so that the delay wouldn't go over the 3h. In fact we took off 2h45 late. 15 more minutes and everyone on that plane would be paid compensation. I find completely unacceptable that that drunk (the drunkest of them all) was allowed to fly. He disrespected everyone on the plane and cursed at the stewardesses without any shame (in Portuguese). And this was another problem. NO MEMBER OF THE STAFF SPOKE ONE WORD OF PORTUGUESE. How can this be? That drunk man was storming cursing words repeatedly at the staff and they couldn't understand how bad it was! It was SHAMEFUL! EMBARRASSING! I don't understand how we all had to put up with this passenger. Unbelievably drunk... They all terribly smelled like alcohol. THIS CAN NOT HAPPEN! They should have been escorted out no matter how long it will take. How difficult is it to do a decent job Ryanair?
