The airports host several major airlines, which operates both domestic and international flights to and from Brussels. However, South Charleroi Airport caters mostly to low-cost carriers including Ryanair and Wizz Air. There are basic facilities at the two airports including duty-free shops, ATMS and bureau de change services. There are several non-stop flights from Brussels to Berlin airports. There are also connecting flights via Amsterdam, Copenhagen, Frankfurt, Stuttgart and Zurich.
Getting to Brussels Airport – also known as Brussels National – is quite easy. You can use the Airport Line No. 12 that runs from the centre of Brussels from Monday to Friday until 8pm. You can join the bus from these stops: Diamant, Geneva, Luxembourg, NATO, Schuman and Da Vinci. During the holidays, evenings and weekends, the Line switches to No. 21, but still serves the same stops.
The journey lasts an average of 30 minutes. The train is another direct link to the airport using the Brussels Airport Express that operates through the Brussels Midi, Central and North stations. The trip's duration is around 17 minutes.
