I have limited mobility & require airport assistance. My husband always accompanies me. The assistance base was a long walk from the entrance we used & we waited for about 15 minutes for a man to arrive with a wheelchair. Then he pushed me for about 20 mins our route going outdoors & back indoors several times. I didn’t know what was going on because I don’t speak German & my assistance helper didn’t speak English. I just had to trust that things were going smoothly but I felt unsure about everything until we were airside & sitting near the departure gate. This part was stressful.
