Just returned from Belgrade with Air Serbia. As a seasoned traveller I do not recommend this (state-owned!) company to anybody. They have lost (stolen?) my luggage (while it wasn't even a transit but a direct flight Belgrade-Helsinki!) and my friend who travelled with her 3 kids lost 800 EUR due to the negligence of this company. They are absolutely unprofessional including at the Belgrade airport. Their advertisement placards are all fake! The passengers who were making their transit flights through Belgrade were not allowed by the airport security staff to take their sealed duty-free alcohol (which was purchased at the first departure airport) aboard the plane. This is agains the law. There are numerous cases when the passengers' luggage was looted. Avoid Air Serbia and the Belgrade airport like a plague!
