Los Angeles International Airport is the major hub for international flights to and from the city, serving millions of passengers every year. As one of the busiest and largest airports in the world, several major airlines operate thousands of flights to and from there. Accordingly, finding cheap flights from Los Angeles to London should be simple.

A non-stop flight to London takes about ten hours, with British Airways, United Airlines, Virgin Atlantic and American airlines all operating direct flights. The airport consists of nine terminals with a wide range of impressive facilities including shopping and dining options.

Getting to Los Angeles airport

Located about 15 miles from the city centre, Los Angeles airport can be easily reached. The city of Los Angeles has an excellent transport system, with a number of transport options readily available. Taxicabs, the most popular travel method to the airport, are accessible everywhere and offer an affordable rate.

Private shuttle buses are also available but may be more highly priced in comparison to taxi cabs. From Downtown's Union Station, Hollywood or Santa Monica, you can take the LAX FlyAway bus to the airport. If you wish to drive your own car to the airport, you can park at the airport's safe and secure car park.

Getting to London

Getting to the city centre

Touching down at any of the airports in London, a new adventure awaits every passenger. From Heathrow Airport, you can catch the London underground (tube) via the Piccadilly line to central London. From Gatwick Airport, you can take a train to central London stations: London Bridge, London Victoria, Blackfriars or London Kings Cross.

Take the Docklands Light Railway service from London City to a London underground station, and take a tube to central London from there. The Stansted Express runs from the airport to London Liverpool Street station. Alternatively, you can take a taxi or hire a car from any of the airports to the city.
