Getting to Amsterdam airport

Schiphol can be reached in many ways from downtown Amsterdam. Taxis are the most convenient method and you can arrange them from your hotel in the city. Alternatively, you can also avail of a hotel shuttle to get to the airport. By public transportation, hop on the Amsterdam Airport Express Bus 197 from the centre. Take advantage of the reliable trains that you can board from the Central Station downtown. Finally, rental cars are readily available to take you anywhere you want to go. If you intend to return a rental vehicle at the airport, drive on the A10, E19/A4 towards Luchthaven Schiphol.

Getting to Berlin

Getting to the city centre

Berlin has two airports: Schonefeld Airport and Tegel Airport. Both airports offer convenient ways to reach the city centre. In Schonefeld, the S-bahn railway station is just a 5-minute walk from the airport. At the station, you can take S9 to Pankow or S45 to Sudkreuz. The Regional railway or Airport Express runs regular trains (RE7, RB14 or R22) from the airport to the Berlin Hauptbahnhof or the main station; the journey will last around half an hour. If taking the bus, take route X7 to the centre. From Tegel Airport, you can use the TXL JetExpress Bus, X9 JetExpress Bus, 128 and 109 Buses. The two airports also offer taxis.
