Airports in Moscow

Passengers travelling to Moscow may land at one of three airports, Sheremetyevo, Domodedovo and Vnukovo. All three are international airports that are well-connected to the city centre.

  • Vnukovo International Airport

    Vnukovo International Airport is located approximately 17 miles from the city centre.


    The high-speed Aeroexpress connects the airport with Kievskiy train station in the centre. Alternatively, city bus services 611 and 611c run to Yugo-Zapadnaya metro station. Taxis can be picked up from the terminal buildings.

  • Sheremetyevo International Airport

    Sheremetyevo International Airport is approximately 18 miles from downtown Moscow.


    Passengers can use the high-speed Aeroexpress Train, which runs directly to downtown Moscow (Belorussky railway station) in approximately 30-40 minutes. Taxis can also be picked up on arrival.

    Domodedovo International Airport is situated approximately 26 miles from Moscow city centre.


    The high-speed Aeroexpress Train runs between the airport and Paveletsky train station. There is also an express bus service that connects with Domodedovo metro station. Taxis can be picked up in the Arrivals Hall.
