There are four ways you can check-in for your British Airways flight: online; on your internet enabled mobile phone; at an airport kiosk; or at a British Airways check-in desk.
Becoming a member of the British Airways frequent flyer program, the Executive Club, allows you to accumulate points, called Avios, and redeem them for future flights and other perks like special offers and promotions.
Up to 14 days in advance you can check the status of your flight online and also consult further travel advice and information pertaining to your trip.
One piece of hand baggage plus a laptop or handbag is allowed. Both items must fit in the bag gauge at the check-in counter:
The checked baggage allowance depends on the class of travel of each passenger:
Extra bags are allowed for an additional price. Save money on additional baggage by paying online before you fly. Bags exceeding the free weight allowance will be subject to an overweight baggage charge.
close to on-time. its been a few years since i have use British Airways. I was amazed that their seats are just as cramped as Ryanair - and you have to pay for a coffee/tea. Compared to Lufthansa or Air-Lingus BA has moved seriously down.
I was disappointed in the reception I received when trying to check in with BA on the morning of 30th January at City Belfast Airport - when I was informed they were co-sharing with Aer Lingus and I was sent to the AL desk - I had repeatedly tried all day on 29th to check in reserve my seat and be reassured that my baggage and my transit arrangements were automatically taken care of This was not the case - and am appalled Aer Lingus tried to charge me gbp100 (YES ONE HUNDRED POUNDS) to take my trolley bag on board - I had an argument with them and said this was a disgraceful display of trying to extract extra money from travellers, especially as I really should be on BA
The only remark I have, is about the reservation, Apparently there was an issue with the payment and only the departure flight was accepted. That was not instantly obvious. For that reason I had to book another flight back, which of course made my travel more expensive. It would be better that a more obvious confirmation or rejection message is generated. It was also not possible to check in online, although it was suggested to do that. This caused some confusion about my tickets being ok or not and I could not use the check in machine at none of the airports for my flights.
Well timed and organized, the assistance obtiained when needed was excellent.
I paid for a ticket with you only to find out that my booking was cancelled as I tried to check in at the airport without being informed . I had to purchase an expensive ticket at the airport for the same journey I was suppose to have paid for. It wasn’t a nice experience !!!.
british airways planes are bogus and old. The Tvs dont work properly No hospitality
Assistance package was great
It was a great connection.
Never fly with areoflot, worst airline going. They list 20 bags and we had to wait 2 hour at the airport to report it. Staff on flight were not very pleasant either.
It was cancelled with no compensation - alternative flight offered not possible!
well is not your doing is British Airways, late at departure, late at returning, maybe because is the Republic of Ireland ... WOULDT go in any more comments ... have a nice day sort of
Never buy perfume if your getting a connecting flight. Even though it's put in a sealed airport bag. Some cretin of a customs man will want to open them and destroy the packaging. No good if you want to give them as presents
The return leg was a big disappointment as the Dominica Antigua flight was delayed by two hours and my luggage is still missing. I arrived at London without my luggage. Three days after my luggage has not been found.
I was charged 2x (£65.00) for my excess luggage. One online the night BEFORE my flight and again at the check-in counter. I was disappointed.
Very smooth flight, especially the landing. Immersed in my book I didn't realise we had landed!
