There are four ways you can check-in for your British Airways flight: online; on your internet enabled mobile phone; at an airport kiosk; or at a British Airways check-in desk.
Becoming a member of the British Airways frequent flyer program, the Executive Club, allows you to accumulate points, called Avios, and redeem them for future flights and other perks like special offers and promotions.
Up to 14 days in advance you can check the status of your flight online and also consult further travel advice and information pertaining to your trip.
One piece of hand baggage plus a laptop or handbag is allowed. Both items must fit in the bag gauge at the check-in counter:
The checked baggage allowance depends on the class of travel of each passenger:
Extra bags are allowed for an additional price. Save money on additional baggage by paying online before you fly. Bags exceeding the free weight allowance will be subject to an overweight baggage charge.
Ridiculous to have to download an app to get a boarding pass. V. Annoying. I thought I had insurance but it wouldn't allow me to change my flight in an emergency situation so I had to buy another flight the next day.
I had no major problems or concerns.
too expensive in comparison
It was a good experience. Staff very helpful and friendly. No nasty surprises like with luggage or a constant barrage of emails about paying for this and that ...
I was quite happy with my BA flight. What stopped me from giving a higher rating was the fact that initially I got a number of emails to check in before my departure, but this was then followed by a complete silence, which was slightly perturbing since I had received so many reminders as to how full the flight out was etc.
I was depressed and disappointed with this flight because they closed the gate on me and my son, which he was crying because that was his first time to be on a plane. I have to be refunded because I paid €250 for another flight.
Left late , but landed early
A passenger would need a good deal of time between flights when traveling through Madrid airport .Due to the fact that you often travel long distance to various terminals.
I would have liked it to have been made much more clear that it was not necessary for me to check in online prior to my flight.
We had a very pleasant flight. On time.
i was robbed at security check in heathrow terminal 2 and avianca airlines would not assist me in even calling the police, then would not let me board the flight. they would not assist their passenger, would not show me where to find security, when asked,, the lady said.. I'm finished for the night and walked away
It was a nice Flight
