easyJet is an international low cost airline which was founded in March 1995 by Sir Stelios Haji-Ioannou. The airline is headquartered at London’s Luton Airport with 20 bases across Europe. As of April 30, 2013 all easyJet passengers must check-in online. Online check-in is available online from 30 days to up to 2 hours before the scheduled flight departure. If you only have hand luggage you can go straight to the security check point with your printed easyJet boarding pass. If you are traveling with checked luggage, you must drop it off at the Bag Drop counter at least 40 minutes before flight departure.
The boarding gate closes 30 minutes before the scheduled flight departure. Any passengers not present at least 30 minutes before departure will not be allowed to fly. You must present an accepted identity card/passport for all flights, including domestic.
One piece of hand luggage is allowed. Hand bags, laptops, briefcases, etc. are also counted as one piece. If your bag does not fit the allowed dimensions, there is a €30/£25 fee at check-in and a €50/£40 fee at the boarding gate.
Passengers can pay extra to check one bag up to 20kg. Bags passing the maximum weight allowance are subject to extra weight charges. No bag over 32kg will be accepted due to strict flight regulations. It is best to check bags and buy extra weight online as charges at the airport are considerably higher.

Occasionally delayed flights
Absolute disaster on the way out delayed on the plane for 1 hour and wores on the way back. Delayed for 2 hours and left standing at the airport with no idea when and if the plane was actually going to go. Easy Jet a joke!!!!!!!
Unfortunately the plane had a delay of half an hour which brought me into troubles to catch the train.

There was some confusion with a gate change that was resolved. Nothing too unusual.
The Easy Jet staff was excellent! From the Check In staff to the Flight Attendants and head Steward on board our flight. They are friendly, helpful (with both my luggage & comfort) and made the experience welcoming. (I don't normally fly budget and the one experience I had was with Ryan Air and couldn't have been more revolting from the cheating tactics at the check in to the rude steward that wouldn't help me put my bag into the cabin hold.). The price was very high for this flight though and, though it was cheaper than regular flights, it was 40% more than when I googled similar flights at a later stage of booking. I will definitely fly Easy Jet again!
