Copenhagen is the capital of Denmark and one of the most beautiful cities in the world. The city is served by Copenhagen Airport, which is located in the neighborhood of Kastrup. It is the largest and busiest airport in Scandinavia and one of the oldest airports in Europe.

Copenhagen to Stockholm flights take off from Copenhagen Airport, which is not a great distance from the city center. Currently, this airport has two functioning terminals and serves a large number of people who use this airport. It is also one of the few airports in the world that has a Hilton hotel.

Getting to Copenhagen airport

Your flight from Copenhagen to Stockholm takes off from Copenhagen Airport. To reach the airport, you can take one of the special airport buses. Hop on one of the Movia buses to reach the airport from Copenhagen and nearby regions. Copenhagen Metro's Line M2 is one of the easiest ways to get to the airport from Copenhagen city center. This journey takes only 15 minutes, and is a convenient way to get to the airport. You can also take the Oresund Railway Line from the city center to reach the airport, and this is one of the quicker and cheaper ways to get to the airport.

Getting to Stockholm

Begin your journey at the historic Gamla Stan; this area is known for its medieval architecture and well preserved buildings. Stockholm is famous for its trams, and the best way to discover this city is by hopping on a tram and getting off wherever you desire. Head towards Drottninggatan and engage in some retail therapy. Stureplan public square is a great place to people-watch and indulge in nightlife activities.

Arriving to the city centre

Flights from Copenhagen to Stockholm may land at one of the four airports that serve the city of Stockholm. The largest and busiest of these four airports is Stockholm Arlanda Airport, which is 37 kilometers away from downtown. Arlanda Express brings you to Stockholm Central Station in around 20 minutes. If your flight lands at Stockholm Bromma Airport, you are in luck as it is just seven kilometers from the city center, and you can take taxis or buses. Skavsta and Vasteras airports are outside the city, though they serve Stockholm. If your flight lands at one of these airports, take one of the Flygbussarna buses to Stockholm city center.
