To and from the airports

Flights from Rome

Rome is Italy's capital and one of Europe's most important cities. With history dating back thousands of years, Rome is an archaeological treasure. The city is served by Ciampino–G. B. Pastine International Airport located within city limits, and the larger Leonardo da Vinci–Fiumicino Airport, located much farther away.

Cheap flights from Rome to Amsterdam may leave from either Fiumicino or Ciampino airports. Ciampino is conveniently located in the city, where as Fiumiciano is 35 kilometers away. Fiumiciano Airport's alternative name comes from the famous renaissance painter Leonardo da Vinci. Today, it serves as the primary airport of Rome.

Do not forget to pay a visit to Stelling van Amsterdam, a collection of 42 forts built around Amsterdam to stop flooding. Head toward De Wallen as the sun sets for some nocturnal activities.
