The airport was named after Alexander the Great and it is the only international airport in the city. The airport handles flights to several domestic destinations across Macedonia and numerous international destinations across the world. Major airlines including Swiss, Lufthansa, Adria, Croatia, Austrian, Air Serbia and Pegasus operate several flights from this airport. Getting to Skopje airport
