Monarch Airlines is a British low cost carrier founded in 1967 and based at Luton Airport. The Monarch fleet is comprised of over 30 Airbus and Boeing aircraft that operate to 100+ destinations worldwide, 30 of them being scheduled destinations and the remaining being chartered flights.

Online check-in is available from 28 days to up to 6 hours before scheduled flight departure. During online check-in you can pay for checked luggage and reserve seats at an extra fee.

You can check the status of all Monarch Airlines flights online searching by flight number and departure and arrival airports.

There are two options for the hand baggage allowance on Monarch flights:

• 1 piece with maximum weight 10kg and maximum dimensions 56 x 40 x 25cm
• 2 separate pieces with a combined maximum weight that does not pass 10kg and 56 x 40 x 25cm. Exception: all flights out of Luton Airport are restricted to only 1 piece of hand baggage.

Additionally, all passengers may carry on 1 small duty-free shopping bag as part of their allowance.

There is an extra fee to check luggage. If you plan on checking a bag, book it online in advance as fees are about 50% higher when paid at the airport.

Maximum weight: 20kg/passenger except for Vantage Silver/Gold Members who have a 30kg allowance.
