Online check-in

Online check-in is available at select airports from 30 hours up to 2 hours before scheduled flight departure. Print your boarding pass and proceed directly to the security control if you are traveling with hand baggage only or drop checked luggage off at the bag drop counter at least 1 hour before for domestic flights and 2 hours before flight departure for international flights.

You can check your Kenya Airways flight status online entering your origin and destination cities/airports, departure date, and return date.

Hand baggage allowance

All passengers, both Economy and Business, can bring 1 piece of hand baggage with maximum dimensions of 55 x 38 x 20cm and a maximum weight of 10kg. In addition, passengers are also allowed a personal item like a women's handbag, camera, or laptop.

Checked baggage allowance

The amount of checked baggage and the weight limit depend on the flight origin and destination and also the class of travel:

I booked one way and when I saw the ticket just before coming to Nbo I observed that there was a return included. I do not want to travel back to London and certainly not in April. Can you please allow me to change the return date and destination or cancel the return and refund me? Thank you John

My flt to Mumbai was good. No complains. The flt to London via Cairo was excellent on Egyptair Buisness class. Online checkin was an issue on this route. The final return from London to Nbo via Cairo was very uncomfortable specially the economy class no wine was served. I checked in 2 bags at London airport till Nairobi. I was given 2 boarding cards for Lhr-Cairo & Cairo-Nbo. I arrived Nairobi on 14-09-18 at 03.45 hrs by flt no MS849 and received only 1 bag. I reported at swissport the missing bag. I received a call on morning of15-09-18 from Swissport that my bag has arrived. I was told to pick my bag. I told them that Egyptair is the one who made the error so kindly deliver the bag to me. A lady by name of Emma told me that she has requested her department about them to deliver my bag. I called 5 times from 1pm till 7pm on the same day15-09-18 No response so I had to go to the airport to collect my bag. I incurred expense of taxi 1500 shs each way. Total cost 3000 shs. Total time wasted was from 9pm to 11.30 pm is when I returned. File reference:-NBOMS10815/14SEP18/0124GMT NAME:-HARIA/VIPUL/MR TICKET NO:-0772596960667 TAG NO:-MS545696. Kindly request Egyptair to pay my expenses & time wastage approx 5000 shs. I have similar late baggage arrivals in Europe Asia & Australia The airlines deliver the bag to the passenger they do not inconvenience the passenger. Thanking You in advance Vipul P M Haria

Flight delayed over two hours with further one hour delay due to runway closure following debris report. Flight connection to Mombasa missed. The re-booked flight was also delayed ! The menu was disappointing and breakfast was miniscule - all this for Euros 771 !!
