It´s difficult to watch this Woody Allen production without feeling the need to visit Barcelona! Although the film does not focus much on touristic attractions and popular landmarks, the essence of the Mediterranean culture is there, leaving you wanting to see and experience more. A city of great art, design, architecture and flavorsome food…what more could you ask for?

5. Into the Wild
This production narrates the story of a college graduate who gives up everything to wander the world travelling as a homeless person. It is an inspiring film that shows the benefits and the drawbacks of dedicating oneself to the travelling ideal. A real eye-opener that makes you question certain aspects of life.
6. Seven Years in Tibet
Climbing the Himalayas and sneaking into Tibet…is there anything more exceptional or exciting? Seven Years in Tibet is a great film about what happens when things don´t go as anticipated; it teaching us that sometimes embracing the unknown is better and more rewarding than the best laid plans.
7. The Sound of Music
Be it the sound of music, the Austrian Alps, the edelweiss flowers or the apple strudel, this classic is an invitation to visit not only Vienna, but also the beautiful landscapes that Austria has to offer- delightful and captivating!
8. The Motorcycle Diaries
Irrespective of your political affiliations or your opinion of Che Guevara, this tale is a wonderful portrayal of open road adventures and travels across South America. 9. Life of Pi
If Taiwan was not on your “must-see” list, this movie will make you change your mind! Not only is this production a good representation of the fantasy novel by Yann Martel, it is also packed with astonishing shots filmed at Kenting White Banyan Garden, Kenting National Park and Taipei Zoo.
10. Skyfall – James Bond
Any one of the countless exotic destinations visited by James Bond will make you want to quit your job and go travel the world. In the most recent film Skyfall, the attractive scenes of London, Shanghai and Scotland make us green with envy…if only all jobs were this breathtaking!
