Upon arrival visitors may reach Barcelona from the airport via train, bus, or taxi. Trains depart from Terminal 2 every 30 minutes and take around 25 minutes to arrive in the city centre. Also, metro line L9 is now available, though visitors can transfer from the airport train to other Barcelona Metro train lines at the Barcelona Sants and Passeig de Gracia stations, which may be better communicated to the desired destination. The airport shuttle bus is timed to meet the train as it arrives from Barcelona. Buses depart the airport and arrive at Placa Espanya in the city centre, and take around 15 minutes to arrive.
