Flights from Madrid land at Barcelona-El Prat Airport (BCN), where several transport options reach the city centre. The Aerobús runs directly from both terminals to Plaça de Catalunya. If you prefer the train, the Rodalies R2 Nord commuter service leaves from the airport's railway station and stops at Passeig de Gràcia.

Metro line L9 Sud (the orange line) also serves both terminals and connects with the wider city network. Taxis and private hire vehicles wait at designated ranks outside each terminal.
