Nice is the capital of the Alpes-Maritimes and is one of the most populous areas in France. Its main airport is Nice Cote D'Azur International Airport. The airport has two terminals serving more than 12 million passengers annually flying to over 100 domestic and international destinations. Nice Airport offers a variety of facilities such as lounges, cash dispensing machines, shops and restaurants. The airport is also the first in the country awarded the 'Famille Plus' label which certifies its commitment to providing an all-inclusive welcome strategy for families. There are changing, nursing and play zone facilities. Passengers who need to work on the go can avail of business centres and meeting rooms.
There are several ways to get to the airport. By road, you can drive your rented car on the Voie Pierre Matthis/Voie Rapide. It is a mere 7 - 8 km journey to the airport. You can also take the bus from Nice city; there are several lines (routes 23 and 52) from downtown Nice to the airport and they leave at regular intervals. Airport Express buses also go to the centre and back to the airport. Another means of arriving to the airport include taxis that you can arrange at your hotel. In addition, shuttle services can be organized from your accommodation. Some hotels do offer shuttle transfers for their guests to Nice airport.

BVG or Berlin Transport Services buses (X9 JetExpress Bus, TXL JetExpress Bus and 128 or 109) are found outside of terminals A and B. If you have booked a rental car, you can drive on the A115, A111 or A10 to arrive at the city. Another way to reach it is to take a taxi. Berlin city centre is accessible by using trains (regional and S-Bahn) and buses. Other alternatives to reach downtown include taxis and car hire.
