Getting to the city centre

All flights arrive at Dublin Airport, which is located about six miles north of the city centre. Although, there is no direct rail link from the airport to the city, there are other transport options that run to the city and neighboring areas. From the airport, there several bus services including Dublin Bus, Airlink and Aircoach at terminals 1 and 2. You can take a bus from the pick-up points at the airport terminals to Connolly and Heuston railway stations in the city and catch a train for your onward journey. Taxis are available at the concourses outside the terminals, and you can take a metered taxi to your location.

Not sure if this was one off (some unusual situation) or that's standard at T2 (I normally use T1) but the queue to passport control was extremely badly manage. We stock there for 35mins.
