About Czech Airlines

The Czech airline, CSA Czech Airlines is headquartered at the Václav Havel Airport Prague in Ruzyne, Prague. The airline was founded in 1923 by the the Czechoslovak government and currently serves 43 destinations, including one domestic route. Since 2001, CSA Czech Airlines is a member of the SkyTeam alliance. Their frequent-flyer program is called OK Plus.

Online check-in

There are four ways to check-in for Czech Airlines flights: mobile check-in, online check-in, airport check-in at a desk, airport check-in at a self-service kiosk.

  • Mobile check-in: For long-haul flights mobile check-in is available from 30 hours up to 1 hour before departure. For all other flights it is available from 30 hours up to 30 minutes before. Mobile check-in is not available for all destinations.
  • Online check-in: Available from 30 hours up to 1 hour before departure for select destinations.

Hand baggage allowance

The amount and weight of cabin luggage allowed on-board depends on the passenger's class of travel:

  • Economy Class: 1 piece, maximum dimensions of 55 x 45 x 25cm, maximum weight 8kg
  • Economy Flex: 1 piece, maximum dimensions of 55 x 45 x 25cm, maximum weight 12kg
  • Business Class: 2 pieces, 1st piece maximum dimensions 55 x 45 x 25cm, 2nd piece 40 x 30 x 20cm, maximum total weight 12kg

Checked baggage allowance

The maximum dimensions for all checked baggage is 158cm (total of length + width + height). On flights within Europe/Asia and the Middle East the free checked baggage allowance is the following:

  • Economy Class: 1 piece, maximum weight 23kg
  • Economy Flex: 1 piece, maximum weight 32kg
  • Business Class: 2 pieces, maximum weight 32kg each
