The relatively new airline was originally established with the initiative of the country's Royal Family in 1994. The maximum dimensions for all hand baggage are 50 x 37 x 25cm. The amount of hand baggage and the total weight you are allowed to bring on-board depends on your class of travel:

• Economy Class: 1 piece, maximum weight 7kg.
• Business and First Class: 2 pieces, maximum total weight 15kg.

A personal item like a handbag, camera, or walking stick is also included in the allowance. Laptops must be stored in the hand baggage.

The free checked baggage allowance depends on the route and class of travel:

Flights to/from Brazil:

• All classes are allowed 2 free pieces of checked baggage with maximum dimensions of 158cm (total of length + width + height) and maximum weight of 32kg each piece.

Flights between Brazil and Argentina:

• All classes are allowed 2 pieces of checked baggage with maximum dimensions of 158cm (total of length + width + height) and maximum weight of 23kg each piece.

All other flights to/from Argentina, Canada, and the US:

• Economy Class: 2 pieces of checked baggage with maximum dimensions of 158cm (total of length + width + height) and maximum weight of 23kg each piece.
• Business and First Class: 2 pieces of checked baggage with maximum dimensions of 158cm (total of length + width + height) and maximum weight of 32kg each piece.

All other destinations:

• Economy Class: 23kg
• Business Class: 30kg
• First Class: 40kg
