Afraid of heights? Stay away from this glass-bottom “skypool”!
HAL architects have just presented this new concept of integrating a swimming pool to connect two separate buildings. The pool will be 27 metres long with a 20cm glass base and suspended 10 storeys above ground. It’s water depth will be of 1.2 metres but the pool will be 3 metres high to prevent accidents.
The rest of the project also includes a complex of more than 2,000 apartments and office spaces for those who don’t want to go to the office or work from home, as well as a gym and entertainment facilities.
Construction will start this summer with the first completions due in 2017.
