Flights from Berlin

Berlin is the capital of Germany and is one of the largest cities in Europe. The city is served by Berlin Tegel Airport and Schönefeld Airport. While Berlin Tegel Airport is well within the city, Schonefeld is located south-east of the city, in Brandenburg.

Berlin to Paris planes may land at either Berlin Tegel Airport or Schonefeld Airport. Berlin Tegel Airport may soon be replaced by Berlin Brandenburg Airport, which will be an expansion of the current Schönefeld Airport. The new airport is being constructed to meet the rapid passenger growth. Both the airports have seen through wars, Soviet rule and the reunification of Germany.

Getting to Berlin airport

Flights from Berlin to Paris may take off at either Berlin Tegel Airport or Berlin Schonefeld Airport. To get to Berlin Tegel Airport from the city center, take the JetExpress TXL bus from Berlin Central Station. This journey will take only 20 minutes. You can also take a taxi from any location to the airport. A typical taxi journey from the city center to Berlin Tegel Airport takes 25 minutes. To get to Berlin Schönefeld Airport, take an RE Regional-Express train from Central Station and get down at the airport's Berlin-Schönefeld Flughafen station. Alternatively, take one of the BVG buses that run from different parts of the city to the airport.

Arriving to the city centre

Berlin to Paris flights may land at any of Paris' many airports. The largest airport in Paris is Charles de Gaulle airport. Take the RER B Regional-Express train to reach central Paris in just 40 minutes. If you land at the Orly Airport, a charming way to reach central Paris is on a tram. Take tramway 7 (T7) from Orly Sud terminal to reach Villejuif-Louis Aragon metro station, from where you can take a metro to Chatelet-Les Halles in central Paris. You may also take an RER B train, RATP buses or taxis. If you land at either Chalons Vatry or Beauvais-Tille airports, take the trains or shuttle buses.
